North Cotswolds Awards

WHAT ARE THE AWARDS?

The North Cotswolds Awards were launched in 2024 to wide-spread acclaim. They are the only awards that celebrate both the exceptional businesses operating in the north Cotswolds alongside businesses run by school-aged students - our next generation of local entrepreneurs.
The awards are open to all businesses across the north Cotswolds, which covers Moreton in Marsh, Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold, Broadway, Chipping Campden, Northleach and the surrounding area.

HOW DO THE AWARDS WORK?

It’s mainly down to the local community, who vote for the businesses they wish to be recognised (although businesses are encouraged to vote for themselves as well). Voting opens on 1st June and takes place on this website. Each vote requires both the name of the business being supported, together with a short explanation of why the company has received support.  Upon receiving their first vote, businesses are notified so they can get further support from their customers, contacts, suppliers etc. if they wish to do so.

HOW ARE THE AWARDS JUDGED?

The finalists and winners are selected through a combination of the number of votes they receive, as well as the strength of written support they receive.  The votes are judged by the sponsors of each category, and three finalists are selected. The finalists are notified after the voting closes at the beginning of October, with the winners being announced at the prize giving ceremony, which is held at the end of
November at the Cidermill Theatre, Chipping Campden.

WHAT ARE THE OBJECTIVE OF THE AWARDS?

The awards are run to celebrate the great businesses operating in the region and to provide a confidence boost to the owners and managers of local businesses – and ultimately to provide a further economic stimulus to the north Cotswolds.
