What area is covered by the awards?

The region includes Broadway, Chipping Campden, Moreton in Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Norton, Bourton-on-the-Water and all the surrounding villages.

What are the Young Entrepreneurs Awards?

Run in conjunction with the senior schools in the north Cotswolds, these awards recognise students who are running businesses in their spare time.

Are the awards open to all sizes and types of businesses?

Yes. 14 award categories cater to all types of businesses in the region.

What are the benefits of these awards?

These business awards are designed to celebrate the wonderful organisations that operate in the region and provide an economic stimulus to the business sector. The Young Entrepreneurs Awards build confidence in students as they take their first steps into the commercial world.

How do they work?

We invite the general public to vote for businesses they believe deserve recognition – and we welcome businesses to vote for themselves as well.

How are the winners selected?

When you vote, you'll be asked to explain why you support the chosen business. The finalists and winners are selected based on the ‘quantity’ of votes received and the ‘quality’ of the written support received.

Who judges the winners?

The sponsors of each award category.

Who can vote?

The voting is open to everybody; however, businesses can only win if they operate within the north Cotswolds region.

My business is located outside the North Cotswolds but trades in the region. Am I eligible?

Yes.

When are the awards open?

The awards open for voting on Monday, 1st July, and close on Sunday, 27th October 2024.

How will I know if I have won?

The judging takes place from Monday, 28th October, and the three finalists in each award category are informed at the beginning of November 2024.

When are the winners announced?

The winner is announced at the awards ceremony at the Cidermill Theatre, Chipping Campden, 25th November.
